Plastic resin dryers from qip are unique in terms of their operating principle and require an immensely low amount of compressed air for drying plastic granulates.
The energy savings due to the two-circuit system are enormous, even compared to desiccant drying systems.
The dryers from qip are maintenance-free, as they do not require any adsorbent to generate dry air.
The drying units are characterized by unsurpassed process stability and guarantee consistent drying results for a lifetime.
Various interfaces (ModbusTCP, OPC UA, web client, etc.) allow communication with process control centers and external devices.
The reproducibility of past drying processes can be ensured by the standard integrated data recording option.

An energy-intensive drying process with compressed air is a thing of the past. qip's drying technology works with two sections. In the upper section, which is larger in volume, the plastic granules are heated to drying temperature with standard air free of charge, and then in the lower section it is dried to the lowest possible residual moisture content using only a small amount of expanded compressed air. The reduction of the compressed air volume compared to standard compressed air granulate dryers is 85% and allows even higher savings due to the automatic energy control according to the material throughput.
The systems are therefore also ideally suited for central drying applications with hopper sizes up to 4700 liters. The combination with a central conveying system as well as coupling stations including monitoring for correct allocation, of course with integrated communication possibilities of all components among each other on the highest technical level, convince more and more customers to use this revolutionary drying technology.

The system also offers the possibility of supplying recovered energy from various production processes to the dryer for heating the material, thus achieving further significant energy savings.
